Staging stunt on bike proved fatal again with loss of a young life on Sunday even as quick service ambulance tried to rush him to Ambedkar Hospital after he hit the brick-dump on Mandir Hasoud Road near Serikheri.
According to sources, Mohammad Ravish of Mominpara along with his friends early morning had gone to Naya Raipur area on bike with a view to performing stunt.
Due to high speed, he lost balanced over the vehicle near Serikheri and hit a roadside brick-dump. He received grievous injury in his head in that incident. After receiving information, ‘108’ Sanjivani Express reached the site and rushed the victim to Ambedkar Hospital. However, he succumbed to injuries mid way.
Friends of the deceased accepted that they used to come to Naya Raipur area for staging stunts on their bikes Mandir Hasoud police refused having any such information.
Police informed that the victim was identified as a resident of Mominpara on the basis of Identity Card and the number of the Mobile phone found on his person.
Meanwhile, a pall of gloom descended at Mominpara as soon as news of the fatal accident reached there as a number of minority community members and acquaintances of the bereaved family converged at mortuary of Ambedkar Hospital.
