Students highlighted emerging social problems and degradation of human value in the skits they performed at Kedriya Vidyalaya no –one in Raipur on Tuesday.
The school organized a divisional level exhibition on social science and skits to show case the importance of national integration. The events were organized under the supervision of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Raipur. The students of Kusmunda enthralled the audience when they with their powerful performance demonstrated the gender discrimination in the society and neglect of girl child.
The students of Baikunthpur cluster staged a skit on the writing of famous Indian poet, lyricist and director Guljzar to highlight the impact of rising crimes, terrorism and violence on the society. Students of Dongargarh performed skit on women empowerment and showed how girl child are neglected and deprived in the society and highlighted the need for more awareness.
The students of Bilaspur cluster in their skit demonstrated how an elderly man was giving too much importance to his son and was neglecting his daughter. The skit showed how the elderly man finally realizes the importance of his daughter. The students of Bolangir Kendriya Vidyalaya in their skit highlighted how corruption has plagued the society and even the leaders who rules the country themselves were becoming the victim. The students of Jagdalpur highlighted the problems of female infanticide.
