In a seminar organised at the Government Girls College here, the views and suggestions of students and faculty members, related to making Bilaspur a Smart city were collected.
A presentation on the concept of making Bilaspur a smart city was made.
During the presentation, officers of smart city consultant, members of Mayor-in-Council and Nodal officer of Smart City PK Panchayati were present.
The Principal (in charge) of the college and other members of the faculty also expressed their views and suggestions. The suggestions which came up were that the city should be a ‘Green Smart city’.
Suggestions related to a better traffic management of the city also came up in the seminar.
The students were also encouraged to put forward their views.
