The bus operators have called back their indefinite strike on Sunday. The strike was called back after paying homage to the Congress party leaders killed on Saturday. A joint meeting of Chhattisgarh Yatayat Sangh (CYS) was called on Sunday after which it was decided to call off the strike.
The office-bearers of CYS informed that the strike has been called back for 15 days. If demands of bus operators are not met during this period then the operator would resume strike from June 7 for indefinite period. They further said that the State-wide bandh called by them was a total success and no bus ran in all major cities like, Raipur, Bilaspur, Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Rajnandgaon, Durg-Bhilai and others.
