The United Nations Day will be observed across Chhattisgarh on Friday (October 24).
The General Administration Department of the State Government in a release said that United Nations Flag will be hoisted atop the Government buildings wherever the National Flag is hoisted.A circular has been sent to all the department heads, Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors. The Flag Code should be observed and wherever the United Nations Flag is available it should be hoisted on the top of Government buildings.
Programmes should be held on United Nations Day. They should be related to the aims and goals of United Nations like peace, international brotherhood. Awareness should be created regarding the United Nations among the masses, it stated.
