On the occasion of International Day of the World’s Indigenous People, astate-level programme is being organized on August 9 at Sardar Balbeer Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be the chief guest at the programme, which will be presided over by Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam.
Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh, Excise and Industry Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Food, Civil Supply Minister Amarjeet Bhagat, Women and Child Development Anila Bhendiya and Chairman of National Scheduled Tribe Commission Nand kumar Sai will attend the programme as VIP guests on the occasion. Members of Parliament,Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen of three Tribal Development Authorities, MLAs will be present as special guests.
