The Chhattisgarh Government will be coming out with a ‘State Innovation Policy’ for entrepreneurs within a week’s time, announced Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday.

The ‘State Innovation Policy’ will help entrepreneurs to create jobs for large number for youths of Chhattisgarh during the coming years, he said while addressing the representatives of around 300 prominent industrial houses of the country at the ‘Chhattisgarh Investor Convention’ held on the second day of the ongoing ‘Make in India Week’ being observed in Mumbai.

Inviting industrialists to invest in the State, Singh said “Chhattisgarh is going to be their second home as it has a favourable environment for capital investment. Investment in Chhattisgarh will enhance socio-economic development of the country’s new State and will also create massive employment opportunities for the people.”

Earlier, the Chief Minister also invited industrialists to visit the Pavilion jointly put up by the Chhattisgarh’s Industry Department and Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC) during the event.

With the help of a Power Point presentation, Singh also highlighted the specialties and massive prospects for investment in Chhattisgarh.

Expressing gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Singh said with ‘Make in India Week’, the Prime Minister has managed to bring investors to a single platform and the move will help Chhattisgarh as well as other states of the country to display their available resources, specialties, prospects and competence.

Chhattisgarh was formed just 15 years ago but in the duration of about one-and-a-half decade, glow of the new State was witnessed across the globe, said Singh and further pointed out that the State has achieved fourth ranking in ‘Ease of Doing Business’ in the country by simplifying rules related to trade and business.

He further stated by making some changes, existing rules will be made more simple and accessible for investors so that they could easily establish industrial projects in Chhattisgarh.
