The social media war of the Chhattisgarh unit of the Congress party ahead of the forthcoming Assembly polls is about to be kicked off in the State.
The party on Friday held a day-long training workshop for its Social Media workers from its Information Technology (IT Cell) which was inaugurated by Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) President Dr Charandas Mahant.
The camp was participated by 500 workers associated with Media Management of the party in all districts of the State.
The camp imparted training on the art of using the communication revolution tools. The workers were provided tips on use of Social Media tools by a team of Social Media Cell of the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mahant said that Media is an important arm of communication in the prevailing circumstances.
In view of the changing circumstances, the Chhattisgarh Pardesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) is holding the workshop to strengthen the party’s Media Cell, he said.
The CGPCC is also in the process of preparing a new website, he added.
