Chief Minister Raman Singh will present the Budget of the State for the year 2015-16 in the Assembly on March 13, 2015. Discussions on the Budget will be held on March 16 and 17. This was decided in the meeting of Business Advisory Committee and approved by the Assembly on the first day of the Budget Session on Monday.
According to officials, the discussions on demand grants of the departments of various ministers will be held from March 18-26. The Committee has fixed three hours time each for discussion on demand grants of Chief Minister Raman Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Chandrakar, Home Minister Ramsewak Paikra, Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Health Minister Amar Agrawal, Revenue Minister Prem Prakash Pandey, PWD Minister Rajesh Munat and Minister for SC-ST Development Kedar Kashyap.
Similarly, the time for discussions on demand grants of Food Minister Punnulal Mohle and Women and Child Development Minister Ramsheela Sahu is two-and-a-half hours for each .
