The senior State-level leaders had been reaching doors of the people and
introducing themselves while the workers in their team had been collecting details such as name, cell number besides providing
them contact numbers to discuss their aspirations and problems.
‘The door-to-door contact programme in fact had been underway for the past two months,’informed State BJP Vice President and Spokespersons Sachchidanand Upasane.
Upasane had been leading a team of party workers in Raipur city to guage the pulse of the electorate while meeting residents of various localities.
This apart, the BJP at the district level has started holding poll meetings with the respevtive district presidents carrying out a weekly review of the preparations being made by the workers in their respective localities, party sources here informed.
The information gathered during the poll meetings are being conveyed to the State BJP headquarters for aState-wide review of the preparations, sources stated.
A large quantum of data regarding people’s problems and aspirations had already beencollected by the party workers during Chief Minister Raman Singh’s Vikas Yatra in the State.
The data is being analysed to work on regions where the party requires higher attention during the poll campaign period, sources added.
