Anticipating a clean sweep in Chhattisgarh, the State BJP office here is being decked up for a celebration for poll results.
Contrary to this, the Congress office bore an isolated look and no arrangements have been made for the election results.
The State BJP headquarters at ‘Ekatm Parisar’ is all set for the celebrations and a huge ‘pandal’ has been erected for the purpose. Arrangements have been made for distribution of sweets after the results.
The party workers are in high spirit and jubilant before results as the exit poll figures have gone in favour of BJP. They are anticipating registering victory on all 11 Parliamentary constituencies of the state. A big screen has been installed at the office of Ramesh Bais, the BJP candidate from Raipur constituency. He will review the election results with his supporters.
Meanwhile the State Congress office had a different scene with no such activities witnessed there.
The office had few workers and leaders. State Congress President Bhupesh Baghel will review the election results in Raipur but no special arrangements have been made for the purpose. Congress legislative Party (ClP) leader TS Singhdeo, has left on a foreign tour. Although, the party has made no special arrangements, it anticipates victory on at least three seats in the State.
