The spouses of employees from Blast Furnace and SGP of the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) visited different production facilities of BSP under ‘Aap Bhi Janiye’ programme at the plant held here.
Before proceeding on their plant visit, they were accorded welcome at a function held at HRDC where GM I/c(Iron), Pramod Kumar was the chief guest. GM (Personnel) H R Choudhari along with DGM I/c (Personnel-Works) Anurag Nagar, DGM (P-Iron M&S) Rajeev Menon, DGM (Electrical) Surendra Singh , DGM I/c (Maintenance) Mahesh Palsokar, DGM (Operation) R.R.Nagre, DGM (SGP) A.K.Ganveer and the invited 41 spouses of employees were also present in this function.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Pramod Kumar said that spouses of employees too have the credit of ensuring the progress of BSP on all fronts which is similar to that of its hardworking employees.
After the welcome function, the spouses of employees were escorted for visiting BSP’s major production units including Rail Mill, Coke Ovens, Steel Melting Shop-2, Plate Mill and Blast Furnace -7. After the plant visit, a documentary film based on the functioning of BSP was specially screened for the visiting housewives at the auditorium of Works Office Building.
All the visiting housewives were also presented their group photographs as the mementos on the occasion. Senior Manager (P-BF& SGP) conducted the proceedings of the programme and Deputy Manager R K Gupta proposed the vote of thanks.
