A rashly driven car rammed into a roadside tree between Keshkal and Bahegaon village, killing the driver of the vehicle on the spot on Wednesday. The body has been sent for postmortem.
According to the police, a speeding car was on its way to Bahegaon from Keshkal. As it reached near Bahegaon, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into a road side tree. The hit was so fierce that the driver’s head dashed into the steering and he died on the spot.
The villagers informed police about the incident and the youth was rushed to hospital but he doctors declared him Rsbrought dead'. Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and further investigation is in progress.
