Special security arrangements had been made at 161 sensitive polling centers in Raipur district with a total of 350 digital cameras installed at these centers , Collector and District Election Officer Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi said on Monday.
Addressing a news conference here, the Collector stated that more than 10,000 employees have been deployed on poll duty in the district.
He said that around 14.23 lakh voters will exercise their franchise on Tuesday in seven Assembly segments in which a total of 108 candidates are in the fray.
A total of 8,052 polling officers had been deployed and the entire district had been divided into 127 sectors, Pardeshi said
Moreover, a total of 400 'Micro Observers' had been appointed to monitor the polling process, he said.
