The 'Quality Education Drive' under the aegis of Chief Minister Raman Singh has gained momentum in both rural and urban areas, officials stated.

Two-day Special Gram Sabhas focussing on Quality Education will be organised in both the areas on September 16 and 17. The Government has decided to hold the campaign in the name of late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. The quality of primary as well as middle school’s education will be evaluated among the public during the Special Gram Sabhas and Ward Sabhas. Accordingly, the schools will be graded as A, B,C or D.

A District-level Committee headed by respective Collectors has been formed for the purpose. Municipal Commissioners and Chief Municipal Officers are part of the Committee.
