A clinic for senior citizens was inaugurated jointly by District Collector R Prasanna and BJYM State President Anurag Singhdeo at the district hospital here on Saturday.
The clinic would remain open every Saturday from 8.30 am to 1 pm and would provide free consultancy and treatment to senior citizens aged 60 years and above.
The clinic had been specially started for the senior citizens to avoid inconvenience caused to them by rush of patients in the hospital and help them get a more comprehensive medical treatment and advice, official sources said.
