The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on Friday issued instructions to conduct practical examination and project work of regular students of high and higher secondary schools in all recognized institutions from January 10 to 31.
The requirement of an external examiner for conducting practical examination of Class 10 and 12 has been waived, keeping in view of the surge in Covid-19 cases, an official communication said.
The districts where schools have been shut due to Covid-19, the date for conducting practical examination has been relaxed.
The District Education Officer after seeking permission from the Collector will conduct the practical examinations.
A letter issued by Secretary, CGBSE, states that it is the responsibility of the principals to make necessary arrangements to conduct practical examinations and project work.
The number of students in a day can be fixed, as per convenience, to be called for examination. Social distancing has to be followed. The schools should be sanitized. During entry of students at the main gate, their hands need to be sanitized.
