The Congress president Sonia Gandhi has lost her senses after the party is all set to lose power after the lok Sabha polls, said State BJP general secretary and spokesperson Shivratan Sharma. He was reacting to the allegation of Sonia that the State Government had not even spared river from selling to satiate its greed.
According to Sharma, she was losing sense that she made such allegation against the State Government, despite the fact that the river sale was done when the now AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh was the Chief Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh.
“It is an irony that Sonia is accusing the State Government for the illegal act of Digvijay Singh,” he ridiculed. He said that looting the natural resources of the country was the culture of the Congress and not of the BJP.
The Congress looted the country but when she was certain to lose power, the BJP was blamed for its crime, he said.According to him, both Sonia and her son, party vice-president Rahul Gandhi were indulging in false publicity blaming the BJP for the illegal action Congress had done in the country.
He also accused them of reducing the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as a “puppet” in their hands and looted the nation.
Daring Sonia to explain how her son-in-law Robert Vadra had earned Rs 324 crore from just Rs 90,000 in the decade long tenure of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre. Still she was blaming the BJP for corruption, he quipped.
He also accused Sonia and Rahul of running the Government from behind the curtain and making baseless allegations against BJP as they were almost certain of losing power after the lok Sabha polls.
He also slammed the Congress for its slogan to alleviate poverty saying poverty was the contribution of it (Congress) it never tried to improve the living condition of the poor.
