In the wake of rising complaints of errant power supply in the region, District Collector Niranjan Das has asked the officials concerned to solve the problem of low voltage in the district.
Das asked all the chief executive officers of Janapad Panchayats to prepare a list of the villages facing the problem of low voltage. The same problem persisting in the development block headquarters and municipal areas should also be removed.
He discussed the problem along with other issues in a time-bound meeting held
on Friday.
The collector stressed on disposing off all the applications received in the Chief Minister’s ‘Jandarshan’ programme and ensuing implementation of all the development schemes within the given time frame.
Das instructed the officials concerned to remain in their offices during the office hours and do inform the headquarters in case of going on the official tour.
The Collector also discussed other issues included in the meeting’s agenda with the officials concerned.
