Presence of a snake in the toilet of an official at Naya Raipur located State secretariat on Tuesday created terror among staff as the incident of a snake coming out in a newly constructed building on the first day of Shravan month remained talk of the day.
Notably, on Tuesday morning sanitation workers spotted a snake in the toilet attached to the office of General Administration Department Secretary Manoj Kumar Pingua. Within no time, the snake entered the commode in the toilet. Seeing this the terrified sanitary staff put up the lid on the commode. By that time the news spread among the entire secretariat like wild fire with police constables and other staff gathering at the spot in large number. Meanwhile, snake catchers were summoned to the secretariat building from nearby Rakhi Village. After hours toil, the snake catchers succeeded in catching the snake only after that the secretariat staff heaved a sigh of relief.
