Samsung Smart Classroom was inaugurated at JNV Mana-Camp Raipur on Thursday by Subrat Sahoo, IAS, Secretary, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare department of Chhattisgarh Government as the chief guest.
KS Guleria, Assistant Commissioner of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Bhopal, was the guest of honour. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp. Neelam Pani, Principal Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Mana-Camp Raipur, welcomed the chief guest and the guest of honour by presenting bouquet.
Dr. Manoj Das, Principal, JNV Puri and Shastri Suman, Principal, JNV Indore also welcomed the chief guest by presenting bouquet. The welcome of guest and participants continued with the melody of the welcome song.
Speaking on the occasion KS Guleria threw light on the importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in modern era. He emphasised the use of ICT in teaching learning process and suggested that the teachers of today should update themselves in their day-to-day teaching activities.
He also expressed his thankfulness to Samsung India Private ltd. for providing the JNV students this wonderful opportunity of learning through laptops and the Interactive White Board.
Subrat Saho came out with all words of praise for Samsung India Private ltd. for its great social service in the field of innovative education. He advised the Principals and the teachers to draw a line between technology and information.
