The State Urban Administration and Development Minister Amar Agrawal inaugurated two community buildings at Imlibhata of Bilaspur district on Thursday.
The Minister denoted the support of the public important for the development of a ‘Smart City’.
He also highlighted the provision of basic facilities like drinking water, electricity, road and community buildings developed at Imlibhata at Ward Number 55 during the past 10 years.
Majority of the residents of this Ward hail from the Below Poverty line (BPl) category and are receiving rice at `2 per kilogram under the Food Security Act. Free medical treatment upto `30,000 is provided to the people through Health Smart Card.
Officials said all the beneficiaries own a bank account under the Jan Dhan Yojana.
