The Commercial Tax Department has started providing ‘Composition’ facility to the small traders in the State.
As per the Department's move, the small traders availing the ‘Composition facility’ would not have to file returns if their turnover does not exceed Rs 60 lakhs in a year. The ‘Composition’ rates had also been reduced from 0.5 per cent to 0.25 per cent since April 2013, according to an official press release issued here on Thursday.
