Shun confrontation, make cordial relations with Centre: Raipur MP

Published on:

Amid the ongoing spat over paddy procurement between the ruling Congress and the BJP, Member of Parliament from  Raipur Sunil Soni on Monday advised the Bhupesh Baghel led state government to make cordial relations with the Center instead of going for confrontation with it.

Talking to media persons, he said “Congress government in the state is playing political    gimmick and was trying to create confusion among state populace over the paddy issue.”

Refuting the charges of the Congress, he further said, “There was no step motherly treatment from Union government towards Chhattisgarh and it has same policy for all the states”.

For progress of the state and its people there should be good relations between the state     government and the Center, he added.

Regarding meeting called by Chief Minister, Soni said he had no information about it and if the invitation reached the party (BJP) it will decide what to do.
