Collector P.S. Dhruv in Chhattisgarh's Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district on Monday issued show cause notice to three municipal officials for violation of administrative orders.
The notices were served to Chief Municipal Officers (CMO) of Manendragarh Isaac Khan, Sanjay Dubey of Nagar Panchayat Jhagarkhand and Tarun Ekka of Nagar Panchayat Khongapani, an official communication said.
The action was initiated for flouting the instructions of senior officials and being absent from the headquarters without prior permission.
The district administration in the past has asked the officers of three urban bodies not to leave the headquarters without permission. They failed to comply with the orders.
They were also absent at a meeting called by the Collector to review the Republic Day celebrations. They were found absent without notice and their mobiles were switched off.
