A Satsang Bhawan and community hall will be inaugurated at Abhanpur Shakti Peeth in Gariyaband district near Naya Raipur on Saturday said Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar Dr Pranav Pandya on his visit to the State capital.
Talking about Gayatri Shakti Peeth Dev Bhog located at the border of Odisha and Chhattisgarh, Pandya said the Shakti Peeth is very significant for the prevalence of peace and humanity among the people. Pandya was addressing a Press conference in the city. He urged the administration of all the Shakti Peeths in the region to organise a mass meditation for the downfall of Naxalism, gender based crimes, terror and other evils of the society.
Under various schemes for villages in the state, Pandya set a target of promoting plantation and eradication of addiction in the coming five years. Pandya was accompanied by Suraj Shukla, V Tripathi, Gangadhar Chowdhary, Omkar Patidar, Santosh Singh and others.
