PWD Minister Rajesh Munat said that it is the duty of party workers to welcome the party’s decision on selection of candidates and set aside differences to ensure their victory in the civic polls.
BJP Mayoral candidate from Raipur Sachchidanand Upasane received a warm welcome at party’s divisional headquarters at Ekatm Parisar on Sunday.Munat said that BJP candidates from 70 wards with their supporters would move out with Mayoral candidate Upasane from Ekatm Parisar and reach Collectorate to file nomination papers. The procession should be historic and exhibit party’s strength.
He said that the development and welfare schemes started by the BJP Government in the State will prove beneficial for party’s candidates in the urban body elections. Upasane thanked the selection committee and party leadership for reposing faith in him and selecting him as Mayoral candidate. He said that the enthusiasm of workers and development works undertaken by the BJP government in the State will help the party to emerge victorious on all 70 wards of Raipur.
He said that the people of Raipur are fed up of Congress Mayor and corporators and decided to select the development route shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh. BJP District President Ashok Pandey, Chhagan Mundra, Shrichand Sundrani, Prabha Dubey, Sanjay Srivastava, Nand Kumar Sahu, Rasik Parmar, Subhash Tiwari, Depak Mhaske, and others were present on the occasion.
