To mark the World Blood Donor Day, Pt Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur (MEKHARA) and Chhattisgarh AIDS Control Committee, Raipur are jointly organising a seminar at lecture hall number 6 of the Medical College on Friday (June 14) at 2.00 pm.
Key speaker on the occasion will be Dr Arvind Neral, Professor and Head of Department, Microbiology. Dr Renuka Gahine, director professor and HOD Pathology department, Dr Nirmal Verma, Professor and HOD, community medicine will brief on different aspects of blood donation. Dr S. K. Binjhwar, Additional Project Director, Chhattisgarh AIDS Control Committee will preside the seminar.
Intern doctors and MBBS students of 2015 batch will also participate in the seminar. The speakers will guide the future doctors on different aspects of blood donation and motivating others to donate blood.
