Employees of the Raipur division of South East Central Railway (SECR) will now be able to register online complaints through SMS. Divisional Railway Manager, Raipur Division, Rajiv Saxena on Wednesday launched the SMS based mobile application for complaint registration for Railway employees in presence of a number of senior officers and employees.
Addressing the employees on the occasion, Saxena appreciated the unique system and said that this will not only help the Railway employees in solving their problems at a fast pace but also facilitate the officers to monitor the status of the complaint. The officials said that the employees using Close User Group (CUG) numbers, besides officers and employees can register any type of complaints related to Railways through SMS.
Senior Divisional Signal and Telecommunication Engineer Sauris Mukherjee explained in detail about the new system and gave demonstration. He said that the complainant will have to type R (space) Department Code (space) details of the complaint. The SMS should be sent to the number 09664964444.
The complainant will receive a complaint ID number for the complaint and he/she can know the status of the complaint with help of the ID number. A number of officers and employees of Raipur division observed the demonstration and participated in the launch of the application.
