The South East Central Railway (SECR) Raipur Division on Friday observed the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and completion of one year of Clean India Campaign.
Member of Parliament Ramesh Bais, who was present as chief guest of the programme organised here at Raipur Railway station, along with Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rahul Gautam and other senior officials swept a pavement at Railway station for generating awareness about maintaining cleanliness at Railway station as well as in trains. Meanwhile, a street play ‘Dustbin’ highlighting the importance of sanitation at Railway station and use of dustbin in public places was presented by Railway employees.
Moreover, Railway officials along with passengers took the oath of maintaining cleanliness at the Railway station.
