The South East Central Railway (SECR) Raipur division on Wednesday held a seminar to spread awareness among female staff about exploitation of women at work places, their rights and other issues .
The seminar was organised by Personnel Department of the division at the Office of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Raipur.
Detailed discussions on measures needed to be taken for safety of women at work places, rights of victims and others issues were held.
The programme was attended by Senior Divisional Personnel Officer M B Singh, Chairman of division’s Internal Committee Shanti Purty and other officials were present.
Moreover, a health check-up camp was organized at Wagon Repair Shop (WRS) in Raipur.
At least 605 employees working in WRS were examined during the camp.
