The Safety Department of South East Central Railway (SECR) Raipur division organised a seminar at Belha Railway Station on Wednesday.
The seminar aimed to establish direct dialogue with SECR employees working in different departments for bridging communication gap among them and to learn about problems being encountered in carrying out day-to-day work.
The Senior Division Safety Officer, Raipur, Anup Kumar Satpathi, Assistant Chief Safety Officer, Bilaspur headquarters, Anil Kumar, Assistant Division Safety Officer, Raipur, JK Patra and Assistant Divisional Engineer, Bharat Sharma addressed gathering in the seminar.
The seminar held discussions on preventing fire incidents in trains, precautions during winter, exhibition of fire extinguishing equipments, precautions during shunting, precautions to be taken by the gatekeeper while passing trains etc. SECR officials from different departments, supervisors and employees also shared their views and learning through past experiences reported during work.
