The 90th birthday of former Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated as Good Governance Day at the Raipur division of South East Central Railway (SECR) here on Thursday
Senior officers of the division including Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Rajiv Saxena participated in the programme and addressed a seminar on ‘Your idea of good governance’ organised on the occasion.Saxena termed ‘Fast’ as the motto of good governance in railways and said that the motto is applied for all activities in railways including transportation of passengers, goods, parcel etc. To achieve it, transparency, prompt decisions and their implementation is must, said Saxena.
The officers of different branches shared their views and ideas on implementing good governance by quick decision making, enhancing transparency and making an atmosphere of team work.SECR senior divisional personnel officer, Mukesh Bahadur Singh threw lights on significance of the day.The officers of all the branches pledged to work with team spirit and maintain transparency at work place.
