Chief Minister Raman Singh will inaugurate a day-long workshop to be organised by State Secondary Education Mission in Raipur on October 19 at 11 am.
This workshop will be organised at conference hall of Agrasen Dham.
In this workshop, the proposal of operating 74 model schools of State Government at Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model would be deliberated upon, officials stated.
It is noteworthy that as per the approval received from Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, model schools were established in session 2010-11 to provide quality education to children in 74 development blocks of Chhattisgarh, which
are backwards in terms of education facility.
The Central Government handed over the authority of these schools to State Government in March 2015.
The State Secondary Education Mission is organising this workshop as investors’ meet to discuss the proposal of operating these Government model schools on PPP-model.
