A young officer of State Administrative Service, posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Dhamdha, died of jaundice at a private hospital in the capital on Monday.
According to information, the official named Vikas Nayak was suffering from Jaundice and also had infection in the liver.
He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital for a long period.
Nayak was a 2013 batch officer and was a resident of the city.
It is considered to be a mjor loss for the State bureaucracy.
