After covering several stations across the country, Science Express will be arriving here in Chhattisgarh on January 31, 2016.
As per information received from railway officials, Science Express is going to arrive here at Bilaspur Station under South East Central Railway on January 31 while the train will be reaching here in Kumhari railway station under Raipur division of SECR on February 3, 2016.
On October 15, Science Express will be leaving for its another journey of making people aware about ongoing in the field of science and innovation from Safdarjung (Delhi) and reach Gandhi Nagar on May 5, 2016 after visiting 65 railway stations in different station by covering distance of around 18000 km.
Science Express is an innovative mobile exhibition mounted on a specially designed 16 coach AC train, travelling across the country since October 2007.
Science Express is a collaborative initiative of Department of Science & Technology and Ministry of Environment, Forest (MoEF), Government of India. Notably, the Science Express aims to create awareness among mass (particularly students) on biodiversity of India, climate change and various other issues linked with science and innovation field.
