School students from insurgency-infested Bijapur district of Bastar on Friday met Governor Balramji Das Tandon at Raj Bhavan in the city.
The students visited Rajbhavan as a part of their educational tour.
During the visit, they saw Rajbhavan Secretariat, Durbar Hall and various other places.
The Governor said that tour is an effective way to learn about the world. This educational tour must have enhanced students' awareness and knowledge about the world and also about the development works taking place in the state.
Tandon advised the students to discuss about these development works with their family and neighbours, when they go back to their villages, so as to inspire them to bring positive change in their surroundings.
