School children take out rally on water conservation

The students of Podar International School, Raipur took out a rally at Mana Camp  on Saturday in which all the teachers including the Prinicipal and other staff participated.

The students generated awareness among the Mana Camp locality residents about the problem of water wastage with the help of placards, a press release issued by the School stated. Almost 30 students participated in the rally and marched along the streets of Mana Camp locality with the slogan “Water is Precious” , “Save Water Save life” among others for about a distance of  1 km. 

The placards which were being held aloft by students focussed on “Water Conservation and its Preservation”. The students of classes I to V performed  a skit  also on the topic of water conservation and the threat posed by its shortage. Over the last two months , the students of Podar International School, Raipur,have been engaging themselves in a host of activities  of social concern as well.The school theme for the month of July was “Speak Up for Nature.'' During the whole month, the school teaching and learning process was focussed on this theme, it added.
