The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes communities and investors of Sahara India in Chhattisgarh on Sunday expressed gratitude to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Shah on Saturday night arrived here to review the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election preparations and returned on Sunday.
They met Shah at a function held at the BJP office.
A delegation of Adivasi Sangharsh Samiti and Sarv Mahra/Mahara Samaj greeted Amit Shah for including12 castes groups in Scheduled Tribes list and inclusion of Mahra/Mahara sub-communities in Scheduled Caste group, an official statement said.
Also, a delegation of Sahara India investors met the Minister and thanked him for launching the ‘CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal’ to refund the money of crores of depositors in about 45 days.
