The Akhil Bharatiya Satnam Sena will fight the lok Sabha election in seven constituencies in the state, including Raipur. The party has declared that its candidates and the workers have begun electioneering.
The national general secretary of the Sena, lakhmu Satnami, told reporters here on Saturday that his party is focusing on the burning issues of the state and the country. Rijhendra Dahariya from Raipur, Dilip Koshale from Bilaspur, Sevakram Anchal from Korba, Jinendra Dhritlahare from Durg, Sahukar Bhaskar from Rajnandgaon, Human Banjare from Mahasamund and Jitendra Rai from Janjgir-Champa have been made candidates of the party.
lakhmu said that his party would go to the people with issues like neglect of Chhattisgarh in respect of rail facilities, partiality in loan, bonus and support price distribution to the farmers, huge illegal exploration of natural resources of Chhattisgarh, less reservation to SC, ST and backward classes, corruption and Naxal problems in the state.
The party had actively participated in the assembly election. Making allegations, lakhmu said that the BJP and the Congress governments have been promoting capitalists, selling government land to private institutions and driving people out of their land. Atrocities on women are on the rise and they are not getting justice on time. His party would contest on these issues, he added.
The Sena had fielded its candidates in the assembly election for the first time. In the scheduled caste dominated areas and in general seats, the party candidates inflicted heavy loss to other parties, especially to the Congress. Because of the Satnam Sena candidates, several leaders like Dharamjeet Singh and Mohd Akbar had to face defeat. In the lok Sabha election also, the Sena could have a decisive effect in the SC-dominated seats, said lakhmu.
