In a major action, several teams of Income Tax Department officials raided various offices of Sarda Group located in Raipur on Thursday.
The raids are also being conducted in other states where Sarda Group is having its presence, IT sources here informed. “Different teams of the IT Department are carrying out raids in about 13 locations of Sarda Group. Various other teams of the Department are also concurrently conducting raids in about 6 different states where the company is having its presence” sources said. The raid started from Raipur Alloys, a subsidiary of Sarda Energy and Minerals Pvt. ltd. The raids were still continuing till the filing of this report.
