With the view to ensuring eco-friendly atmosphere on the college premises, saplings were planted on Thursday (July 17) at the PG College of Nursing, Bhilai.
The function was attended by Dr Shailendra Jain, Acting Director I/C (M&HS), JlNH&RC, Bhilai and Chairman PG College of Nursing. Dr M Bhalla, Director (M&HS), JlNHRC, Bhilai, Dr S K Kirolikar, Joint Director (M&HS), JlNH&RC, Bhilai, Prof Dr (Mrs) Abhilekha Biswal, Principal, Prof Dr (Mrs) Sreelata Pillai, Vice Principal, Hemavati, SC Jain and other faculty and students were present on the occasion.
Dr Shailendra Jain, Chairman PGCON said that plants will not only beautify the campus but also provide shade and amenable environment. On this occasion, around 15 saplings of palm trees and 15 mango trees were planted by guests, faculty, CSR sponsored students from tribal area of Rowghat in Bastar and students of PG college.
