The State Government has assigned senior IAS officer Santosh Mishra an additional charge as Additional Excise Commissioner until further orders. Mishra is currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Skill Development Mission and Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB), according to an official press release issued here on Thursday.
The Government has given the additional charge to Mishra for ensuring compliance to the Excise Control instructions of Election Commission of India (ECI) during lok Sabha elections 2014. The General Administration Department (GAD) had issued orders for offering him additional charge of the Department on March 4.
