The model exhibited by State Panchayat and Rural Development Department to showcase its achievements and schemes in the exhibition being held in the ongoing celebration of 14th Foundation Day of Chhattisgarh State is drawing huge crowd here.
The exhibition is being held at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Industry and Business Complex situated in Tuta village.
A model being exhibited here to showcase the development plan of ‘Sansad Model Village Scheme’ was centre of attraction for the visitors of all age groups.
The visitors admired the planning of habitats, cement concrete streets, greenery, drainage system, roads for transportation, power supply lines, houses and government offices being exhibited in the model in systemic manner.
As the per the Chief Minister Raman Singh’s wish and directives issued by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to develop ‘Model Village’ under ‘Sansad Model Village Scheme’, the department has started work for better implementation of this scheme in the State, officials stated.
Notably, after making announcement in this regard on August 15, this year, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi launched the scheme on October 11 in New Delhi.
