Sakhi one stop centres across Chhattisgarh will be digitally enhanced soon, officials said here on Thursday.
The Secretary of Woman and Child Welfare Department, R. Prasanna, instructed officials to adopt digital means to carry out official work of the centre.
Prasanna asked them to take assistance from the union government and NIC to upgrade the current software in-use and also to make the information readily available.
Sakhi centre is a specialized institution that provides integrated support and assistance under one roof to women affected by violence, both in private and public spaces.
The Secretary gave the instructions during a visit to Sakhi one stop centre at Kalibadi Raipur.
The official also visited the nutrition rehabilitation centre of Matra Sishu Aasptal (Mother Child Hospital) at Kalibadi and inquired about the programme.
Prasanna interacted with women living in the one stop centre and inquired about their problems.
