A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between POSCO and the Steel Authority of India ltd. (SAIl) on technical collaboration for operational improvements and human resource development on November 7.
The MOU was signed by Dr In-Hwa Chang, Chief Technical Officer, POSCO and Raman, Director (Technical), SAIl at POSCO Centre, Seoul. The signing ceremony was conducted in presence of Dr Oh-JoonKwon, Chairman cum CEO, POSCO and P.K Singh, Chairman SAIl.
Speaking on the occasion Chairman, SAIl said that today’s MoU signing is an important milestone in SAIl-POSCO’s long standing relationship and in future the companies would be collaborating in many more areas. It would be SAIl’s endeavour to work together with POSCO for the mutual benefit of both the companies, a Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) press release informed.
Dr Kwon expressed happiness at the collaboration with SAIl and said he both companies will work together to make it a success.
