Sai visits BSP, observes steel making

Union Minister of State for Steel & Mines, Vishnu Dev Sai visited the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) and its other project sites on the second day of his Chhattisgarh visit on Sunday.He was accompanied by State Minister for Higher Education, Prem Prakash Pandey, Parliamentary Secretary and MlA labhchand Bafna, BSP Chief Executive Officer S Chandrasekaran, ED (Works) YK Degan, ED I/c (Projects) SB Jagdale, and other senior officers of the Bhilai Steel Plant.

Sai visited the Blast Furnace-7, new Coke Oven Battery-11, Steel Melting Shop-2, Plate Mill, Visitors Gallery of Rail & Structural Mill including long Rail Complex and took keen interest in the steel making process, company officials stated.He also visited and closely monitored the project sites of Blast Furnace No 8, Steel Melting Shop-3, Bar & Rod Mill and Universal Rail Mill.
