The Sports Authority of India (SAI) had approved seven Khelo India Centers in Chhattisgarh.
An official communication on Friday said that the Centers include two in archery and hockey and one each in volleyball, malkhamba and football.
The SAI will also financially assist the establishment of these centers in the state.
Coaches of national and international repute will train sportspersons in these centers, the statement said.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel hailed the decision of the Centre and said this would polish the budding talents in the state.
