Chhattisgarh Finance Commission Chairman Chandrashekhar Sahu who is on a two-day visit to the district discussed status of various ongoing projects with Collector Niranjan Das on Thursday.
He inquired about the works of various departments and also apprised himself about the status of the developmental works.
Sahu clarified the role of the Finance Commission in Agriculture, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) and Industry departments on the occasion.
Prior to meeting the Collector, he met District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ritesh Agrawal and inquired about the works of Panchayats.
Meanwhile, the Collector directed officials to make arrangements at Janpad Panchayats, Municipal Corporation and Sub Divisions for the eighth edition of ‘Raman ke Goth’ scheduled on April 10.
