Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said the Sahu community plays a significant role in the development and progress of the state.
He was addressing an inaugural function at a new community building organized by the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Sahu Sangh here.
The state government started allotting land to every community at a mere 10 percent rate to decrease the expenses of marriage functions at hotels and other places, Baghel added.
The function was attended by Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu.
